ZONING ORDINANCE

This Zoning Ordinance contains a comprehensive set of regulations and requirements intended to provide for the optimum use of land and buildings to adequately protect the public health, safety, comfort, convenience and general welfare of all persons in the Charter Township of Van Buren.

This Ordinance is intended to implement and be in accordance with the Township’s master plan to further meet the needs of the Township’s residents for food, fiber, energy, and other natural resources, places of residence, recreation, industry, trade, service and to assure that all uses of land and buildings within the Charter Township of Van Buren be so related as to provide for economy in government and mutual support.
